creator of #fediblock :verified::makemeneko: (npub1u83…r2s5) ☃️merry chrimist☃️ (npub1pt6…6mf6) dieulast (npub1ytq…c56f) gav (npub1w4j…cead) 🌲Fæġer Mæġden🌲 (npub1g0u…3vfw) npub1y0a90u6h043a3q9aslwsxs5r2fnfdr2fth8clrl3pw6lr4sl8ejs8py86z (npub1y0a…y86z) Dr. NEETzsche, GED (npub1nl9…axrx) Guy Incognito (npub1pz6…7c8z) oveRDRawn fedi account (npub1943…7sjq) Somewhat related: My native language is spanish, but i'm very fluent in english, and in fact, get most new vocabulary from english now. When this happens i feel the meaning of the word comes from some fuzzy cloud that was formed from context and grows sort of denser the more context i gather for that new word.

However, this feeling colapses the moment i learn of an equivalent for the word, or try to convey its meaning, in spanish and achieve it with a good amount of certainty. From that moment onward, the word becomes tainted with the baggage of my native language upon conscious thought of the word. Only when i go back to a state of using the language as fast as i can, without thinking about it, can i regain this feeling i talked previously about. I can no longer feel it while thinking of the word consciously.
