There's a smell of mildew/humidity in the house that we cannot figure out. It's coming most strongly from a cabinet in the kitchen above the stove. There are no water pipes in that wall, there is no swollen wood or wall, no stains. We took out the trim above the cabinets and the space between them and the ceiling looks fine.

We're going to have to start opening up the ceiling and the wall behind the kitchen to see if we can track it there.

This old house has no attic and the roof was replaced and redone a few years ago. There are no solar panels installed in that area, but even then, there hasn't been any rain.
