Does anyone in the #Python community know what the rationale behind PyPA's adoption of Hatch was?
I have reviewed the Harch repository, mailing list, and Discourse, but all I've really been able to dredge up is the actual vote on adoption.
I'd like to know why PyPA thought it was important to bring that specific tool under their ownership, and how it fits into the Authority's broader strategy towards packaging (or how it fit at the time, rather)
