I was raised in #SanFrancisco but spent a lot of time in #NY and I remember really clearly how bizarre it was to feel an #earthquake there. I felt the shaking and my brain just kept rapidly flipping between “ah, yes, earthquake, under the table with you” and “wait, no, this is ny”.
Which is to say I fully get why east coasters are freaked out! It’s a super weird feeling.
