The best things tend to result from competition, people pushing each other, your hackathons are a perfect example. Even Twitter now considering encrypted DMs was likely influenced by nostr.

gsovereignty (npub1myg…sn5p) has recently said in his podcasts that nostr has likely achieved a critical mass of developers that are excited to build. finding ways to continue this excitement is important. Ultimately, what really resonates with me is @ottman@minds.com point that people will flock to the place where their freedom and privacy are most respected.
