Also type a perfectionism. Some things finding someone with a high enough give a shit factor to do it the way I want it done might take longer than doing it right myself.
For 6 months I tracked tool expenses vs money saved by not hiring out. I buy whatever tool I want now and my wife doesn't bother me about it at all and that was years ago.
