I always find it odd that anyone finds it odd that I talk to myself. I'll talk with other people sometimes too, but occasionally it's nice to be able to speak with an equal. ;-)
Also, podcasters out there, be honest -- how many of y'all just started doing it into a microphone to stop people from thinking you were losing it? Not that I can stand in judgement; I speak out loud right back with a bunch of you while wandering around in public.
Heck, as someone who's spend enough time in some chat rooms that have some lulls, I've been known to even chat with myself online. Watch long enough and I'm sure you'll see me have Nostr threads that are full blown conversations all on my lonesome. It's a great way of exploring complex systems -- speaking, or writing, a thought about a facet frees up mental energy to focus on the other facets without needing to juggle it all in quite the same way.
