Before COVID, I used to go out to a very fancy restaurant with nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqa8n5spen7n0fy9n2lz0vurk9gehvpceu5dr0s6rmj9cyj2xqdajsf3wpgl (nprofile…wpgl) on NYE. My favourite was a gourmet restaurant called Verses located in a converted church. The meals were expensive, but the food, drinks, and service were amazing and I saved up to afford it. A pianist played music on the grand piano while we ate.

Unfortunately, the restaurant closed down. The next year I went to Bauer Kitchen, instead. While the food was ok, they were blasting techno music at incredibly loud volume. It wasn't even close to midnight. The music caused me pain. I hadn't thought I should need to wear ear plugs to go out for a meal. We ate as quickly as we could so we could get the hell out of there.

I tried a couple other places, but never found any place as nice as Verses was. Now I'll just be having leftovers at home. #restaurants #NYE #food
