A big thing I’m doing with my own personal music site (built on Publ, and I’ll be releasing the templates when I’ve got it ready) is to add genre and topic tags to everything so that people can browse my catalog without it being a Wall Of Albums like what they see on Bandcamp. I’m also probably going to prototype my rating systems so that people who are so inclined can try rating a bunch of my songs and see if that proves out the algorithm ideas that I have.
