Al Mezan’s (Palestinian NGO) lawyer met with Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya in Ofer Prison, where he was held in solitary confinement for 25 days. Dr. Safiya was forcibly stripped, shackled with his hands tightly bound, made to sit on sharp gravel for five hours. He also endured beatings with batons, electric shock sticks, and repeated blows to the chest. 10 hours of interrogation significantly worsened his health.
