I am unsure outbox will fix everything. It seems to me that the best thing to fix is profiles, and consistent profiles accross all the clients. As that ties everything else together. And if a good way can be found to do that, the same technique can be applied to other things. One simple idea would be for the most recent profile sent by a user to be updated and linked to from your NIP-05. But there are a few different ways to solve the problem.
