That was the crucial point for me - my own safety, not the effect my leaving or staying had on the platform. And patronizing a nazi bar doesn't reclaim it or make it less nazi - it desensitizes you and trains you to ignore the threats around you, and puts money in the nazi owner's pocket. It's hard to have to make or find a new place to hang out, but it's better than being around nazis. The goal is to exclude nazis, not to find ways to coexist with them, because that's impossible for decent people.
