A friend emailed and asked "if I'm going out yet" and I don't know how to answer without being rude.

Covid still has no sure-fire prevention. (Yes, I know about layers of protection.) Long Covid still has no cure. I am still medically vulnerable.

So yeah, as locked in the house trying to stay alive as ever, thanks for asking.

Is there an answer that is kind-hearted that might reach someone who cares about me and make them think?

I struggle to respond graciously.
