The more I think about it, the more I suspect that the exploding pagers and walkie-talkies are the lead-in to an Israeli invasion of south Lebanon. One major effect has been to cripple Hezbollah's tactical communications—they can't trust any electronic device; what isn't a bomb might be a bug. They're back to pre-WW I C^3—they almost certainly do not have field phones and phone switches and the many miles of wire used in WW I—and they can't trust the phone switch. What better time to attack?
