How I feel about Openshift is similar to how I feel about Volkswagen. Volkswagen used to sell practical, maintainable, affordable cars, with a novel, opinionated design. Over time, they've gone "upmarket" making more expensive, less user-maintainable cars that are more similar to what everyone else is doing, but aren't necessarily more reliable even if arguably safer. Expensive and boring. I miss the days of ingenuity, innovation, creativity, and affordability with the platforms.
