Looking at ships on MarineTraffic and there's this boat, the Nor Solan owned by Nortrans and its bow(?) is an odd shape.
It kind of looks like the front of a high-speed train. I can't imagine this ship goes fast enough for it to be aero and I am left wondering why?
Why this atypical design? There're quite a few off-shore supply vessels that have a bow that goes back to the command centre bit.
