also I can't sleep so another complaint I'd like to file: dashboard automation. grafonnet or vega or cue which perses uses is really horrible. writing real code is A LOT easier. (d3, observable gives you not just extra shiny visuals but all the features of "programming" around it)
but I'm grumpy and old and my joints hurt from xml and are inflamed by yaml.. ;)
