The corporations, even small family owned ones, are as complicit in the looting of the working class as the tax collectors. 4.5 years in with this company and they act like they’re doing me a favour giving a 2.9% raise in the face of a 40% cost of living increase over the same period.

No wonder “quiet quitting” is a thing now. Turning engaged, enthusiastic, motivated people into fucking clock punchers.
