The closing of Piranha Bytes seems to have attracted a lot of "eurojank" comments, but the studio still did release several well-remembered RPGs. My favorite is still Gothic 2, which greatly improved on its predecessor with a world that did not feel big for the sake of it, but had plenty of small and interesting details to make it feel immersive.
