They had chronic shortages and corruption in the Politboro, we got the corporate commissars doing the same thing but under the banner of capitalism. The USSR sucked, but the US is collapsing now 30 years later. The imperialist and tyrannical American empire is dying. There was an attempted coup. All these things are happening, and we are next. Both major powers of the cold war will crumble because of greed and tyranny. I propose the third way, the way of Democratic Socialism.
