"content": "Progress on beer, on day 3: NO YEAST ACTIVITY. It's possible that the yeast packet in the kit was exposed to too much heat in shipping (was traveling through the heat dome for a number of days). Just in case, I have pulled some yeast I have in reserve in the fridge (SafAle S-33, a brewing yeast) and will let that fight it out with any yeast that might or might not be in there now... I don't think that yeast packet was good, as I'd normally at least see a little bubbling starting/notable gas production on the airlock. #beer #homebrew",
