When your vote matters, vote strategically. You might not like them very much but the goal in elections is always the best of the possible options.

Similarly, I want politicians to compromise. Get the best they can but ultimately, whatever moves us in an overall positive direction is worth it.

None of this requires lying or holding your tongue. Maybe being totally honest will hurt the odds of getting what we want short-term, but that honest dialogue is essential to democracy. #LiberalValues
