Hopefully the next browser revolution is an interesting one. The firefox forks like Librewolf are nice, but if the fox croaks I wonder how the deriative projects will keep up. Even they need the updated code from the base project to keep up. Chrome hasn't had that issue yet, at least not out in the open so we'll see what happens.
Kinda reminds me how in the tech industry they keep saying "you are replaceable!", and Mozilla kicked out Brandon Eich due to a reaction from him giving out a private donation. He went to start Brave after that and the browser has been evolving significantly in its own way even if it's using Chromium as a base. Just goes to show you that not everyone is replaceable.
The only odd browser I saw outside of these was Flash Browser which still plays the old flash files and flash projects way back. Didn't dive in deep to see if it was a fork of the big two or not.
