My idea is as follows: What if we had a train system that runs on existing power lines? We could engineer small vehicles-stroke-gondolas that carry packages from local distributioin centers to end users' homes without the expense or man-hours of traditional delivery vehicles. Power lines are simplewires: cost per mile is very very low. There is no need for fuel distribution or batteries: the vehicles can take their power directly from the wires! This will lead to great economic benefits!
