I love the choice pixelfed made in that regard.
I continue to believe Mastodon is killing decentralization. I understand Eugen’s philosophy of being the “jump-start” instance. And thats why their doors remain open. But I dont think thats the way we should welcome people in.
Its different here. And that truth should be out in the open from the start.
