Since this just drifted by on my feed: a whole lot of small businesses in my area (people I’ve made an effort to get to know, even) went cashless because they were repeatedly held up at gunpoint and their employees were physically harmed. I realize it’s an effort to actually talk to people who run your local coffee shops, bookstores, bodegas, etc. to find out why they make decisions like this, but it’s a tad more informative than making blanket assumptions online. 🙄
