We have no way to distinguish between "doctors are bad at diagnosing" and "patients aren't seeking care". We don't know whether doctors are more reluctant to diagnose LC in vaccinated patients or patients are more reluctant to seek care.
Neither our paper nor this paper can draw conclusions about impact of vaccination on underlying prevalence because what they are measuring is impact on *provider diagnosis* with LC.
