The internet will change as we know it, with one base tool , that I suspect that is being developed by a team at MicroStrategy.
They are going to take one SATOSHI, and substitute THAT for a personal "identity". Then, to manage that identity, the owner will have the public and private keys. The public key will divided into one way multi-sig sections pertaining to " need to know" segments, like age, photo, address, etc. The identity "need to know" segments can then be used, as needed, by the owner of the identity. As credit and reputation has been established by that Identity, it becomes reputationally more valuable. Also, a type of bonding of that identity can be obtained by posting SATS in a multi-sig escrow of sort. This "identity" system could even be used by machines in addition to humans.
BY solving the Byzantine General's problem, Bitcoin solved FAR MORE than a money issue. It tacked "Identity trust", and that will change the entire internet and every connection to it.
