In brief, the main advantage it has over QUIK is that it can send 1MB images. QUIK seems to be limited by my carrier to 300KB, for some reason.
The AOSP messenger works well, but fails to send multiple images in a single MMS for me for some reason, and lacks a search feature.
Fossify SMS is unstable with the size of my messaging DB.
