The hedgehog we rescued has lung worm and she is very poorly . they catch them from slugs and snails which they rarely eat but the slime is enough to transmit them the rescue gave is 2 tips to stop this.
1 put the food bowl on a pad of sheep's wool or
2 stand the bowl in a shallow bowl of water as slugs do not paddle but hogs do.
We will be implementing this tonight and keeping an eye out for her siblings #WildlifeRescue
