I'd like to see more instances talked about out in the media. There's focus on talking about the fediverse instead of branding everything as Mastodon but I'd like to see it go the other way. I'd like to see the discussion get really granular and cover community standards and software and differences and similarities that way. I feel like the general public would be able to grasp the fediverse better if they were shown the pieces along with the overview.
