I had a “Back to the Future” sort of adventure this summer with one of the latest electric vehicles on the market, the Rivian R1S three-row SUV. It gave me — mostly — a glimpse of a more perfect, more climate-friendly transportation future, though with one glitch at the end that may be cropping up more frequently with all of our increasingly computerized cars.
