Is it really the case that just one person decides of what modifications go into the main Mastodon code? Is that how open source projects generally work? That doesn't seem great. But it would explain why Mastodon is so slow to improve.
Is the decision structure the same for Mastodon forks like glitch-soc? If so it seems maybe we should all use that instead? Works pretty well on our server. :)
PS: I am ignorant of how all these things work but always happy to learn.
