have you looked at movie lineups recently? there is virtually nothing a man would see.

I finally watched Galdiator 2 yesterday, and it seems the only thing the character can fight for is the women in his life. Oh sure, at the very end he says some words about the dream of Rome, but he is mostly pissed off because his woman is dead and his mom sent him away. I remember being 12 quite well, and if I was the grandson of Marcus Aurelius, I might have some thoughts about reclaiming the throne. but no. He is too traumatized by being sent away.

Throughtout the film, the men are deranged, power hungry, syphylitic, effeminate, or fodder for sharks and pointy things. It's pretty ridiculous stuff.

I have plans to watch Wicked tonight. I don't suspect it will be much different, but it's Valentine's Day, and my wife wants to see it.
