Lots of moving parts. The show would be better if it were a 12–16 episode season, as they are spending so much time on exposition and travel that it’s almost like a Rick Steves show.
I also have a key canon objection that I think is valid. Elves who saw the light of the Trees in Valinor, Telperion and Laurelin, always live both in spirit and material planes.
