Microsoft has added Copilot to Word and it can't be turned off. My employer considers using Copilot as equivalent to plagiarism, and therefore a grave offense. I may have to quit using Word. I used OpenOffice for years so this will be a hassle not a hardship
UPDATE - I discovered how to turn Copilot off. But the little icon suggesting I use Copilot can't be made to go away.
Any year now Microsoft will realize that it should not just turn stuff on without asking. But I've used Word for almost 30 years without that happening ...
