I don't want it to be a holiday because I think kids learning about it in school is important. The ceremonies at school might be the only ones they'll ever attend. It'll just turn into another day off and lose its meaning (remembrance) entirely. But the city can easily tell its outside employees to take a break for 10 or 15 minutes. I live around the corner from a 24/7 365 days a year Shoppers and literally the only time they're closed is for a Remembrance Day ceremony.
