I always mean to build my own machine(s) but I never get around to it. The last PC I bought just for me was a ZaReason Desktop 10 years ago. I know I paid more than it would have cost to get a similar Dell just for the metal Penguin "Linux inside" name plate on it, and the joy of knowing propritary software had never touched my hardware. I just looked at PoPOS w/Cosmic based on your toot and nothing jumps out at me. On the surface it looks like nothing overly GNU about it, appears to be the same overweight wana-be MacOS that Ubuntu has been sholving for years now.
