I tried it on GNOME using EndeavourOS and a few things broke (mainly screen sharing) plus I got way worse fps in my games, plus all of the X11 commands I know no longer worked (for example I run xset r rate 175 75 in a terminal all the time). Tried it again on Nobara Linux in both GNOME and KDE, same story. Headaches and worse performance in games. Went back to X11 and everything works fine. I currently see no point.
