"content": "A little update on my electronics hobby. Some time ago I bought discarded bus FlipDot displays, which I have now fitted with new electronics that can be controlled via an RS485 bus. They are each connected with an MQTT-RS485 serial bridge which also activates the power supply only for switching. So it needs very little power.\n\nTwo of the displays currently show the temperature + relative humidity from outside and inside.
