Looking at Xcode benchmarks, compile times have gotten much worse with Xcode 16. So much so that M1 with Xcode 14 beats an M3 with Xcode 16.
M1 Max with Xcode 14: 87
M3 Max with Xcode 16: 110
Apple silicon can't even keep up with the Xcode team.
