"ring road (Inner Distribution Road)"
Neither one means anything to me. I have no idea exactly! :-)
I do 'get' how it's busy though. I can scarcely imagine.
Our 'rush hour' lasts about 5 minutes. In 40 second spurts. Just wait a bit and it will be over and you can go.
I have driven down south in the city (Vancouver). They can keep it. It's the worst city in all of North America for congestion.
Blessedly, they also have the best rapid transit robot trains since the 80's, so there's that!
I immediately park my car at one of my sister's and buy a bus pass (good for train, ferry and bus). Every few minutes there's a new train. They are very spoiled in Vancouver imo.
Of course, we have nothing like that up here: no population.
