In a move guaranteed to get British Republicans grinding their teeth, the UK Govt. has put aside £8mn to fund every public institution in the country to obtain & display a copy of Hugo Burnand's portrait of King Charles III.
As Graham Smith of Republic says, its a 'shameful waste of money'.... the application deadline has recently been extended.... maybe not as many institutions have been keen to grasp this 'opportunity'?
