The situation with how Nintendo is handling the Nintendo Switch emulators (Ryujinx & Yuzu) makes me think about our plans to support non-macOS platforms on Darling in the very distant future.
The thing that sucks about non-macOS platforms is that Apple requires all apps released in the App Store to be encrypted with their Fair Play junk...
While I don't see Apple being as aggressive as Nintendo, when it comes to their legacy software/ecosystem. I worried that Apple may be compelled to pull a Nintendo if Darling's (hypothetical) iPadOS implementation becomes good enough to handle a decent handful of modern apps.
One advantage TouchHLE has over Darling is that the emulator only supports 32bit iOS apps. Darling, on the other hand, is intended to support modern apps (which Apple may find as a threat).
I'm tempted to convince our group to drop the idea of supporting non-macOS platforms on Darling...
