I’m trying to understand something about #Bitcoin and maybe some of the guys I admire in the space can even help,

ODELL (npub1qny…95gx) If Bitcoin is meant to be an alternative to fiat, why is Bitcoin’s value in the US$ so important? If it’s a stance against governments, why do we want them to have a stockpile? It just feels like we’re cheering for the things Bitcoin is supposed to be against.
