Specifically, I meant using cashless payments to beg. Transactions themselves likely won’t be tagged directly as alms, but small, frequent receipts geolocated in non-residential or -commercial settings might, in combination with other metadata, flag a user as a beggar—rightly or wrongly. If that’s behaviour that governments want to discourage, then they could further limit a user’s access to services and/or the economy.
