I don’t do resolutions but have organically started writing memory of dreams each night since this one (noted below) and every morning it’s getting easier. I find if I remember one detail, much more will emerge just by writing that one detail. Last few nights I get barely into the first sentence and a whole world opens up.
Dreams are so surprising and often so very strange. Pairing writing with watercolor is even better which is what I used to have time to do (20 years ago 🫣).
Right before sleep I ask my subconscious to send me a dream that I can remember and I tell my subconscious I’ll write it down. It works!

quoting note10yf…j2h0The Dream:
A hallway. A bunch of Guillermo del Toro type creatures walk into the hallway in front of me, they divide in half splitting off to both sides. Chaos ensues out of sight. Scream and murder heard in distance.
Ghostbuster type investigators enter spraying anti-ghost stuff around, Creatures reenter unperturbed.
“why are we spraying, everything’s gone” says detective
Creatures mockingly move out of sight.
Detective: “touch anything or I’ll kill you”
Deputy: “don’t you mean, ‘don’t touch anything?’”
Detective: “touch Anything, or I’ll kill you”
Deputy: “what?”
Detective: “like this,” holds out object. “touch it. give it a squeeze.”
Deputy squeezes object
Detective: “No Touching”
