this cycle is older than algorithms. sh!tty sequels and cookie cutter trash have been around for years... the Internet has just amplified what was already there before.
maybe #Nostr is/will amplifying/amplify authenticity, maybe it won't but the actual driver of all of this is people and their choices. [choosing greed, hatred and ignorance OR something else]
