i'm walking back my thoughts about not doing the sea-dog thing
i figure i have 10 years until the next epic weather cycle so that's probably plenty of runway for me to get into a pure seafaring mobile life
the kittah is totally provoking me about this, he appeared and i had kept the door mostly closed and he was munching from the outside, head through the gap on the bowl i placed right next to it
he was fine with me closing the door and placing him in a more comfortable position
i know he will hang around for another 2-3 hours so i'll just let him here, i'm making it really easy for him to decide that i'm worth the risk factor because the most dangerous thing that i would want to do to him is disappear
got a heater warming up the mat in the middle of the room, as well, where he will inevitably alight
my evil plan is that he will finally realise he can actually sleep here and nothing will go wrong for him
so, yeah, inspirid
not gonna do that dangerous thing
keeping an eye on the real estate situation and in the next few months will nail down something i can move to and my little ship's cat will get his delousing and i will move to another place probably as i continue to acquire the sats to do the full ship-life thing - i would prefer to move up the mountain though, things are nicer up there, in the margins away from the nasty dogs
why? because i'm not moving any closer to the humans at this point
the ship is the best way for me to get completely out of range of their lights and see the sky again
i also am very curious to learn about sea-farer culture around here, and honestly, there may have been a small part of my interest in #madeira that came from the fact that it's so far away from high population areas, in addition to its bitcoiner governor
