The physiogomy of Khazar Jews is very different from that of Semites, including semitic Jews. Their language is different (Yiddish vs. Hebrew). Their names are different. A derivation of "Levi" is used to designate the traditional priestly caste of the Hebrews, whereas a derivation of "Cohen" is used to designate the traditional priestly caste of the Khazars. The latter comes from "Khagan" which, although it translates as "emperor", was actually the title of the khazar high priest.
