≠ (nprofile…0d5n) That's a common misinterpretation of the study. When read properly it concludes that they are largely Khazars. At any rate, studies can be fudged. The "facts on the ground" so to speak show that they are khazars.
The physiogomy of Khazar Jews is very different from that of Semites, including semitic Jews. Their language is different (Yiddish vs. Hebrew). Their names are different. A derivation of "Levi" is used to designate the traditional priestly caste of the Hebrews, whereas a derivation of "Cohen" is used to designate the traditional priestly caste of the Khazars. The latter comes from "Khagan" which, although it translates as "emperor", was actually the title of the khazar high priest.
